Default Bad news...I think the chirping noise is getting louder.

Anyone else comment on the "kazoo" sound and the characteristics of it?

I'm getting more of a bird chirping, warbling sound coming from the front end of the car now.

Default still sounds like pad tags-mine was really hard to locate.

Default I had a water pump that sounded just like that...

It was not on an Audi, however. I learned the cause of the chirping when I parked in a convention center parking lot and came back to find my Merkur XR4Ti sitting in a lake of green coolant.

Default Ok, I think it is the CV joint. Now it must have been to the point that it wore enough to

make it click on turning.
