Before Ferodo DS2500 expectations get too high ...
They have two advantages,
1. The coefficient of friction of the DS2500 is probably 30-35% higher than the OEM pads, and the result is that pedal effort is 30-35% less for the same brake effort at the tire/road interface. This translates into what feels like significantly better (stiffer) pedal feel with 30-35% less mush.
2. It's nearly impossible to get the DS2500 to fade on the street, and even on the track, it'll take a bit of work and hard driving.
As we've all noted, the only trade-off is some squealing under light braking.
