I got my A8 back this afternoon, and since it was in the shop for the torn bumper repair, I had them pull the tranny pan and do the filter among other things.
---> $203.46 !! for the tranny work. (from what I can tell, this is an outstanding price) I can say that they were very professional and knowledgeable .. courteous too. I have no problems or reservations at all about going there again, for anything.
I drop-shipped them some tires from TireRack without asking them first and it turns out that they didnt feel comfortable running the 17" aluminum rims on their machine so they arranged to have the work farmed to a reputable tire shop without my intervention.
The interior does have a few muddy fingerprints BUT it has rained here like the amazon for weeks, so Im dropping the car at the Detailer in the morning ... it was due anyway. It's entirely possible that the flatbed driver did the muddying, and not the shop, at all ..
this shop rates 9.9 out of 10 with me and if it's the tow driver's fault about the mud then 10 out of 10.
Mitchell-Schuster Imports .. Southington CT (central connecticut) is the name.
