Default Got one of my video's up from Barber Motorsports event

Guys, be patient w/ me. I've never moved video from tape to computer, edited and then posted on the web. I think I got it figured out though.
I did 3 video's. I did one that was my very first lap out w/ my instructor where I had never seen the track prior. Then the second one I made is the next to last session of the weekend where I had been instructed in the car for 2 1/2 hours and then signed off to drive "solo". Those 2 video's were rejected by youtube because they were longer than 10 min. so I'll try and shorten them tonight when I get home and post them. For now enjoy this one.
This one is the last session on Sunday when most people went home and we got to mix people up from different groups so I'm in with the big boys now! I get passed by the Porsche Carrera GT and the blue Elise which I think is "A42TT"? What fun!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=21ZpGinVOOc</a

Default Very entertaining

Nice driving. How fast were you going? I think I and the A8L would have gone off the side a few times there.

I have no idea how fast I was going. Just do it all by feel. I think by little brother said he saw 115 on the front strait when he rode w/ me in that clip.

Default Re: I'll tell ya what I like most about this car now...

It didn't break! I drove the crap out of it for a total of 3 hours over the two day period and it never missed a beat, other than when I ran it out of gas on session. That was interesting. My Nissan I used to do this with would have broken 3 times. The temp guage came up some but not much and came right back down on the cool down lap. Tranny was awsome! Love it.

Default Sean Bean

If you're still editing, do you have any exteriors shots of the car on the track? It also wouldn't hurt to sideswipe the Carrera next time, and have Sean Bean get out of the car and puke when the drive is over.

Default Re: Outside shots.. not yet

There was a nice guy in the white Elise who I met. He was taking video too. We exchanged business cards. I'll email him soon, I just don't want to bother him too sooon after the event. We were not allowed to mount anything to the outside of the car this trip.
