Default great, my "new" waterpump is leaking!

<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/55607/waterpump_leak.jpg"></center><p>Only has about 7k miles, just noticed today when doing an oil change (another good reason to do it yourself).

I'm not sure if it's just a bad one or something I did wrong. I know that I torqued it correctly and in the right sequence. Definitely more than a drip which makes me think the pump went bad.

Default Bummer. In order for it to spray like that, it is likely leaking from the center bearing......

not from the gasket (which would be what leaks if not installed properly). Unfortunately, nothing to do but replace it again :-( BTW, do you always remove the TB cover to the oil change ;-)

Of course, doesn't everyone? Actually, I noticed some telltale pink drops waiting for the drain....

This pump was in the Blau kit for anyone else who used one. I'll report back once it's out.

That sucks! I can tell you where not to take it if you're in Denver...

it's fairly common for new waterpumps to leak.
