Good News: Software upgrades are free.

Bad News: Previous VW/Audi models had all their diagnostics on an ISO-9141 serial K-line. Only two modules in the '04 A8 are acessible via K-line. The remainder can only be accessed via a CAN bus. That means a new interface which can communicate via CAN bus is needed.

Good News: We should have new HEX+CAN interfaces ready to ship around the end of the month. These will support dual K lines as well as CAN which means they will work with all diagnostics capable Audis -- past, present, and forseeable future. If you have an older Ross-Tech interface, a trade-up program will be available.

i know this is a very old thread but was wondering if i could get some help. im having a problem gaining access to the level controller unit and i have the same exact code that is in greenie's car for implausible signal. i have used access code 31564 to try to get into adaptations and all i get is invalid code entered. i doublechecked the controller number component and coding and it is the same as greenie's. all the doors and trunk is closed and i have tried leaving the car locked overnight as well. any tips ideas?
