Default H&R's are installed !

I've only driven the car about 15 miles and my initial impression is:

1) the handling is outstanding. HUGE improvment
over stock and even the Eibach setup I had.

2) The ride is excellent for normal highway driving.. a tad harsher over bumps but it's so much better than what I had I'm sure I'll get used to it. It's a really nice setup.

3) Ride is a little lower than I like. I'm going to adjust the fronts up about 3/8" today. I wish the rears were height adjustable but there's just no way given the setup. I bottomed out at the end of my driveway so after I adjust the fronts it should be fine.

I'll post of a pic of how I did the rear springs today or tomorrow. Thanks to Paul, JimR and Skiracer for the advise and pics this weekend. Plenty of help here now for you guys thinking about going this route...

Would you like to sell your Eibach setup?

Default Alignment

You will probably be getting your alignment done....just so you know, when I get mine done, I get it done to the "sport" settings.....if you want to give me your fax number, I'll fax you the before/after alignment settings with specs after I did my install.

Default Ah, forgot that and was going to ask. Alignment is dead on just like before.

If it feels good, is it ?

Default Not necessarily.

I scribed the alignment eccentrics, so it was pretty good for a few days driving, but when you see the before/after, you'll realize you needed to get it done.

Default You MUST get a good 4-wheel alignment done (if you like your tires, that is)

Just because it "feels good" by no means makes it good. I've eaten up a good set of tires before because the alignmnet "felt good"- it wasn't. Also, I raised my fronts 1/2" from the factory setting and it works really well.

Default I am commited to the H&R's...You changed my mind...

I think I will plan to install them towards the end of the summer.
