Put the fronts on this morning, not a hard job at all, the backs are twice as hard in my opinion. I will post the details later, took about 150 pictures total front and rear. Replaced the front lower (straight) control arms too. My suspension is really tight again. Sometimes I would get a little wobble in the steering wheel on the highway, it's all gone now.
Took five hours total (both sides) with a ton of picture taking and lunch. The second side was 1.5 hours total.
The ride is a tad bit firmer going over bumps, but other than that, rides like stock and handles much better. Less understeer than before, but I'll have to drive it to figure all of that out, plus bringing it in for an alignment and other things next week.
And now, what you've been waiting for.....drumroll please (Paul has a smile ear to ear all day now, I love the look of the car!)

Looks awesome, Paul! I can't wait to get mine installed. I was looking at the front end this morning, and it seemed to me like it would be easier than the rear based upon your posting about doing the rear. The entire shock/coil unit comes out as a single piece, and can be disassembled/assembled off the car and reinstalled as a unit. As long as you have the correct tools, it doesn't look particularily difficult. I look forward to your posting on the overall procedure and any special notes or comment you may have. Thanks for sharing all this information with us!!!

All you need to do is to take the front lower (straight) control arm off, really easy, take two upper nuts off that holds the strut assembly in place, then the whole thing drops out. The Bently says to disconnect all sorts of stuff. I will put it together for you (the procedure that is).
