Default Had to remove spindle for upper control arm replacement (97 A8q)...

...the bolt holding the two upper control arms on the passenger side seized... tried backing it out and the head snapped off the bolt... tried to drill it out and the bits broke... tried everything until i realized i had to remove the spindle and bring it to the machine shop. one hour later we had the bolt drilled out and i was on my way. oh yeah, it rained the whole time.

Don't know if you solved your problem yet, but when this happened to me I used an air impact hammer and pounded them out pretty easily. I then cleaned the bores in the arms and used plenty of anti-seize compound on the new bolts when I put it back together.
