Default Handling and lowering...give it a rake

I wonder if lowering the front suspension a half inch would eliminate a bit of front end plowing in hard cornering. Anybody here ever tried lowering the front only?

Default May be worth a try, but probably not ...

... going to help.

Lowering the front ride height reduces the front roll center height. This is a step in the right direction, lowering the roll center reduces the roll resistance at that end of the car, similar to installing softer front springs and/or a softer front sway bar.

Unfortunately, the stock S8 suspension really doesn't have enough negative camber in the front for hard cornering. The result is that the outside front tire goes to positive camber -- hard on the outside edge of the tire, certainly not getting the maximum grip from the tread, and just contributing to further understeer. To the extent that lowering the front roll center reduces roll resistance, this will just get worse.

If front camber was adjustable, and you were willing to tolerate uneven tire wear in normal driving, it could make a big improvement.
