It takes the defogger literally minutes to fix when it happens ..
It's always the same .. if it's damp out, or like tonight it was damp from rain .. suddenly the A/C feels warmer and WETTER .. this blast of super wet, hotter than normal air surges out of the vents and every window plus the sunroof fogs up THICK .. soooo frustrating and dangerous at night.
IDEAS please???

The vacuum actuated mechanism broke and the flap defaulted I believe to closed. I assume the D2s have the same/similar mechanism. Notice when you set the CC to defrost you cannot activate recirc. There was an actual repair kit for the 5K that I believe Blau was selling. I fabbed my own. It was a real PITA due to confined quarters but once I fixed it my defrost worked just fine.

Funny story. I sold a car to a co-worker and a few months later he came to work and handed me a pair of my girlfriend's white cotton panties with little red hearts all over.
He said his wife found them under the front seat ... Awkward LOL.

This happens WHILE you're driving. Everything is fine ... maybe you're driving for 45 minutes ... everything is perfectly fine.
THEN WHOOSH .. blast of hot wet air and all the windows go opaque from thick thick fog.
It can happen in the rain OR even when it's just humid and cold out at the same time.
