Has anybody painted the exterior aluminum trim to match the car color? If yes, how did you do it and do you have pics?

I've only seen examples of blackening it with special tape that looks like a paint job. Maybe...

...there are more colors of tape available. Sorry, don't know the product's name.

I'm sure that you can scuff, prime, and paint like anyother material. Just mask really well.

I would check it out on photoshop before you do it though.

I was wondering about anodizing it & clear coat....

and how hard it is to remove...and then.... replace. I'm sure WE could find someone that can do the anodizing..? I did the TrimBrite thing on the side rubstrip and I don't see how the T'Brite would make the curves around the windows. It doesn't seem to stretch and it tends to buckel on the inside of the radii (sp) and then there's the seams.?
