I keep thinking I'd rather have an '02 because it'll make all the mod's that PaulW has done easier but does it really matter?

That's where I bought my car. This is the North Shore of Chicago where RICH, and I mean VERY RICH people live.
It has the alcantara......I would want to see the grey interior in person, but I bet it's over the top.
If you could get it for $24K, that would be awesome! Still would be a high price for an 01, but if you plan to keep it for a while, no big deal.
The thing the 01 doesn't have is "S".....which is over the top the best mod I did on my car. You would have to find a TCM out of a junked S8 or pay $1000 or so for a new one.
