Default your not kidding, plus....
you would have to either run really low boost or figure out how to lower your compression. lest we forget the proper coolant needed to run such things.

I would love to just replace my engine with the RS6 engine instead of going through all the trouble of trying to wrench one together.

Default Agreed, great idea, but will the D2 tranny hold it?
.. I have also heard there may be some heat related issues on the RS6.
It would be kewl though.
