Default Has anyone taken the seat cover off the front seat to check airbag sensor?

I have the airbag light on and code shows passenger seat sensor problem. How difficult is it to remove the cover to check the connection on the sensor to see if it is loose or not proberly attached? Tried turning the light off but it comes right back on. Was told if light is on none of the airbags work so I want to get it fixed ASAP.

Default I think the problem is the location of the connection, I think it is under the seat cover...

and not below it. Not sure if you can remove the seat to get at it or have to take the seat cover off to get at it? That is why I am asking if someone has tried getting to it. My car is a 1998 so it may be different on some other years.

Default the connection should be under the seat not the cover

You will need to clear the code after to reset the light

Default check under the seat. Should be a yellow 2-pin connection. See my sig for my sport seat install...

for more details. Might be useful.

Could also be a faulty sensor for the seat belt latch mechanism.

Good luck!!
