Has anyone tried wheels with offset of 30 or 35?

I am considering either RS6 or RS4 wheels - I may use the stock 18's as winter wheels and the new ones with dedicated summer tires. I'd keep the stock Continental all seasons around to turn back with the car at the end of the lease. Or I may try the all-seasons as my winter set-up.
In any case, it seems that these wheels are either ET 30 or 35. I don't think this should present any problem, but I was curious if anyone had pictures or comments.

The 30 or 35 offset wheels will move your wheels out an additional 18mm (ET30) or 13mm (ET35). That's about 5/8" or 1/2".
Your stock wheels are ET48.
They won't have a problem with rubbing unless you went to same crazy width, but if you stay with a 8.0" width, and a 255 tire, you won't have any rubbing problems.

especially with wider wheels.
This Offset Calculator shows the effect of wheel width and offset changes. My HRE's are 9" wide with an ET39. You see the result with your proposed wheel versus your current wheel or mine (see the pictures in my pictureposter).

Only the 16" five spoke wheels were 7.5" wide, all other factory 17" and 18" wheels were 8" wide.
