Hello All,
So I'm driving back from Vail and out of nowhere I get this warning with a headlight and arrows pointing up and down. So I get out the manual and find out this is an issue with the Headlight Beam Adjusting Control. I then look into the Bentley and it gives me the control module J431 which is located between front and back door on the passanger side. So my question is has anyone experienced with the warning light and how did you resolve it.
Do I have to replace the module or just kick it a few times?
Thank you
Sawyer

1) There are 2 headlight levelers (one front, one rear) attached to the control arms on the drivers side. One of them is probably broken. The can be repaired with 2 part epoxy.
2) One of the arms came unclipped and isn't connected to the control arm (or loose)
Check them first, probably not a bad module.

mostly throws the light when in traffic on a slight up hill. Itll go off when I restart the car. I have looked nothing looks broken or unhooked. I think it may be sticking. When I looked in the bently it appears that there are multiple leveling devices around the car, and the arms, and the module. It bugs me but not enough to make a warranty claim. I cant imagine what the diagnostic charge would be (sometimes I get stuck with that)
Sorry I couldnt be of more help let me know what you come up with
