Trans clunk occurs when coming to a full stop. Car will jerk if I keep the brake pedal fully depressed, so I usually lift my foot slightly to avoid the "jerk." I searched your forum archive, but my results were inconclusive. It was hinted to me that the valve body may be the issue, but I don't want to jump to any conclusions. Any help in this matter is greatly appreciated

how long it might take to tell if it worked? I would assume that it has to circulate through the trans a few times....

this up...what is the total ATF capacity of the system? It says 1oz per quart, and I don't want to mess up that ratio...

there's a reset you can do with vag-com which has solved this on both of my 2000's. Exact same symptom you describe.
