Default Hello my big A8 brothers :) I have a question...

Since you guys seem to be about 150X as knowledgeable on the ZF transmissions then anyone in the other forums, I come seeking advice.

I have a 2000 S4 Tip w/33k with mods putting at what we dubbed "Stage 3-" IE, Stage 2 software for K-03s but using K-04 turbos. I just had my fluid flushed and filled and the trans is a world better. My question is, level10 in NJ offers different upgrades to the ZF tranny, would it be wise to install one of those? Upgrade the internals to handle the extra torque? Cost is relatively low at ~$800; thinking it might be a good insurance policy.

Any input is appreciated! Thanks.

Here is a link to Level 10. I never heard of them but they seem to offer some cool cheese for American and Asian cars. No mention of VW or Audi... :-)

http://www.levelten.com/index.html</a

Default Those guys have been brought up before, but I don't think anyone has done it.

If you do it, please, please, report on how it goes.

Default Found it...looks like I was off on the price though, lol...

Dear Bob,
We do offer a performance transmission system that is capable of hanling
500+hp and 500+ lb. ft. torque. It will also become faster than the manual
transmission there for shifting faster, firmer, more power delivery to the
wheels. We do require a core which will take 2-3 business days and yet have
a 6 months unlimited mileage warranty that is good nation wide!!!!
pts transmission system $3864.
pts torque converter upgrade $598.
