of the way (bungee cord works well). Next, remove the two bolts that hold the carrier bracket. They're 18mm or 19m I think. It will pretty much fall onto the ground once these bolts are removed. Look for them on the backside of the rotor.
Now you have clear access to remove the rotor. At this point if it's stuck you can use a mallet or remover as I suggested. There will be nothing else holding but rust if it doesn't come right off. You can spray some PB Blaster around the center hub area to help.

Well, the thing is, I couldn't get to the bolts to remove the carrier. I was showing banal what the front brake setup is on the '98 and it is basically a different solar system. On my '98, the bolts are very easy to reach. on his 00, I couldn't even reach the top bolt with my finger. I am sure there is some specific tool (that I didn't have) needed to reach them, yes?

I have a different dual piston than you, but two large hex head bolts on the back of the carrier moved it far enough to get the rotor off.
