I have an Audi a8 1998 4.2 that was involved in a hit and run and severely damaged on the front. After paying a lot of money getting this all fixed the mechanic told me he was shipped the wrong bumper and that he can't find the bumper anywhere! Does anyone know where I can find one? I'm stuck with no car with $4000 down the drain unless I get this bumper!

Try Collins Collision out of Denver, or Ogden Chrome out of Utah, or any of the bumper repair sources around the nation.

Most of these places have a stock of bumpers, but they might need photos of YOURS to make sure they get the right one. (Many cars have many different bumpers, with or without sensors, etc.)

Heck, some cars, like the Mini, have more than 10 bumpers for just the rear.

It's a headache, but not impossible.

Call a local body shop, ask who they get their remanufactured bumpers from, and see if you can source one locally.

Shokan would not ship me a bumper, they claim that they arrive damaged. I need one as well, thinking about making a road trip and picking it up. Good luck!

I ordered a bumper and cover from Shokan a few weeks ago. I live in NJ and it arrived by truck in 3-4 days. It wasn't cheap ($900) but it was in great shape.

NOTHING from Shokan is cheap...last resort only.

EVERYTHING I've ever gotten a quote on from Shokan, I've found for about half (or less) from another (any other) source. In one case, I found a new engine part (OEM w/warranty) for well under their used price quote.
