Good question, I would say normally the TB service and serpentine belt would not include a fan support bearing or serpentine belt tensioner. Just doing the serpentine belt tensioner roller is a bit of a hack, utilizing an idler from a Hyundai 2.7L rather than replacing the whole tensioner just to get a roller that's not pooched.

Giving everything another look, found coolant level at "min."
First thing I had checked when it started running hot was coolant level. Checked several times, was always halfway between "min" and "max."
Had only checked it at temp, never cold.
Cold, coolant was at "min."
Topped it up to "max" and, so far, two days now, 95F+ out and temp needle holding steady at normal, even when parked with max A/C.
Never had a car run hot as long as coolant was between "min" and "max" when cold but I guess "min" on these cars is pushing it on the very hot days?
Was considering returning the new fan clutch but I'll keep it on my desk as a reminder to always double check the obvious first.
