Default Help. Oil leak on the passenger side of the engine.

Wreaking havoc on the transmission. It'll upshift but won't downshift.

Any ideas what could be leaking?

Thanks.

Default The cam cover? If it's from the top right, that's most likely it

I actually have a set in my workshop.....is there a tranny problem or is it engine oil?

Maybe. Or the oil pressure sender or a bad seal in the oil filter. Which one would cause you to burn oil as well?

Problem seems to be gone today. Strange.

I took the car on it's first extended trip, 250 miles. Maybe 150 miles into the trip while going about 80-90 the car started leaking oil and burning oil out the exhaust, which led to the tranny locking out. Only a couple of drops of oil on the ground but you can see and smell the mess it made in the engine.

Don't quite know what to make of it.

Sounds like you had a great time in Grattan, Paul. Can't wait to see the pictures.
