I am not 100% sure that what happened, but I have problems with second gear. I had a incorrect gear ratio 2nd gear code. Probably we put too much of that sealant and because it cures without oxygen after four days of driving with the sealed tranny there is no oxygen in it. I will know more next week when I am going to take the valve body out again. I just realized I am taking the valve body out more often than my CD magazine

They were manafactured that way, and it would answer the question if this is the problem. Also, 1/32" seems kind of thick.
I like the theroy that this could be causing the problem, but, I had a car which early on in it's life had the transmission replaced after a leak in the ATF cooler lines screwed it. A brand new transmission was put in and that also gave problems and was replaced about 18 months later. My theroy for what it's worth is that the first transmission fried the clutches (I know for sure this happened), and some crap remained in the ATF lines/cooler dispite being flushed. It's one of the reasons I'm sleptical of the tranny flush procedure PW's published as a fix. I think it is a good idea as a maintance item, but if the fluid it heavily contaimanated it's to late, you have crap in there and it's going to be a problem. Even a flushing the entire system won't get it all out.

It means the valve body will be submerged 1/32" lower in the fluid. I was thinking to use thinner gasket, but with all those little lines I am afraid it is going to be too delicate and hard to install.

Won't this mean that it will enlarge the chambers? Yes, slightly but isn't this (decreased pressure) sort of the premise that slipping is occuring in the first place? Not trying to antagonize just trying to give a different view.

The valve body goes up against these big channels. They like 3" high and they hold at least 1 1/2 qt of fluid.
