Ok, we all need to help #2 here. Mr. Greenie, set up some control tests in your car. For
example, set your thermo to X temp. and then hold a thermometer 6" away from your rear door vents (or whatever). Let us know your control tests and we will all do the same tests in our 04's. Happy to help. . . build a case. . . .and then dig up Perry Mason since you might have a conflict of interest, or not.

Perry, the dealer took all sorts of temp readings
and regardless of what the front was set at the rear only could muster up 66 degrees. Have your front center vents ever blown cooler than the outer ones?

At least you have rear seat warmers right?
The lack of knowlege by AOA is frustrating. I wonder if the ducting is such that it can't provide heat (air from the AC only). Or if the ducting is such that it could send heated air, but software control is preventing it....

Greenie, having the center vents blow cooler...
than the outer ones is actually a 'feature' in our cars. In the HVAC setup menu, there is a choice for how much cooler/warmer you want the center vents to blow vs. the outers...check it out.
