hey guys i just picked up a 97 a8, anything cool i can do on VAG?

Default Recode the tranny first, then recode the central locking system.
Recode the tranny to 00001 or 00011 (I prefer 00001). Go to www.ross-tech.com and look for central locking system recode options. Other than that, vag is best at being a troubleshooting tool. You also need it to reset the oil and IN1/IN2 service reminders.

Haven't we had a bunch of threads about the DSP issue with that code?

dirty swede, are u in boston? what color, engine, options did you get? tranny shifts well?

Default ross-tech dosent have a page on the A8, should i go with the B5 info
and whats that code you speak of? 00011? what dose it mean?
