Hey, what's this on my dash?
On my S8 instrument cluster, there appears to be a small light/diode (Green or amber?) just on the outside of the lower right of my tach- at about the 5 o'clock position-
I haven't seen it come on, and cannot find any info in the manual.
Any ideas? I cannot recall if i saw it on my former A8 instrument cluster...

I've wondered about that one myself. It's right next to the 8 of the tach.

I believe it's the milage tamper indicator
They are in the same place on all Germain cars.
My BMW 540i and 850csi both have them in the same place, along with my Audi.
If you cluster does not sync with the computer it becomes illuminated.
