Hello all,
I start to hear a long hissing sound (like air leaking from the A6's pneumatic lock) in the trunk area every time I unlock the door. Did anyone have this problem and fixed it? Any inputs would help before I start to track it down and fix it. No sound when lock, only unlock.
The weather is starting to be sunny and dry, it's the time to kill all little problems of the car.

I had the same issue, untill my central locking pump died. I'm not sure if it is normal, but your pump may be on the way out.

Arn't these cars wonderful, what with all the flora (stinky smell from plugged up drains) and fauna (snakes in the belfry).

actually it sounds like the motor noise.... Not pressure hissing sound... Definitely no COBRA..:-)

The only thing I noticed is the noise lasts longer than 2 seconds, and if you're in a hurry, you can't lock with the remote until the noise is gone. Yes, I'm not fixing it until it's totally dead, no lock or unlock.

About 2-3 seconds is what mine takes to unlock.
