where it would be-But wait there's more............
When rattle hunting [grrrr.] I found there is a plug for the ESP lurking behind the blank.
Is this just a loom feature ie. they use the same loom for all cars or........ is it a function they only activate in some cars???
I suspect the first is true

96 Tchassis-certainly cant spin the rear wheels-the two wheel drive
car has a switch on the dash -I thought it was limited to the 2wd cars as quattro directs the power away from loose traction

I suspect Audi used a common loom for both the 2WD and Quattro models.....
thus the wiring loom has the wiring for the traction control switch found only on the 3.8L 2WD version of the A8.

Very common on low-volume cars to have one common harness...
If there are only a few feature differences, it is much cheaper for the OEM than having 2 separate, lower-volume harness part numbers.
