How is the A8q with OEM 16s"???
Just wondering how the car handles with 225/60, or even wider i.e. 245/50 tires?
If I find a nice 16, I won't turn it down since my bling is too much pimp hand for me. j/k

On stock suspension, it corners harder on 225/60-16s than 245/45-18s!
Replaced summer-only Pilot Sport 245/45-18s with Pilot Sport all season 225/60-16s, and started going around corners faster and with a more progressive approach to the grip limit. When a softly sprung car leans enough during cornering, tall sidewalls can keep more of the tire on the road instead of starting to lift an edge. Low profile tires are counterproductive on cars whose suspension can't exploit them, no matter how fashionable they may be.

Wow 255 on 7.5" width
Well, I know the wheel gap won't be pretty, but that is what some A6ers say when they use 17" S4 rims.. Looks fine to me!
I might be using a 7" wide rim, so if the offset works for the front calipers, I might be able to go as wide as 245. (MFR. rec. 245 max for 7" width)
