How comfy are "comfort" seats....?

...I have an issue.
I am a big chap (not fat, I hasten to add!) and the narrow bolsters on the standard fit recaro base on my 2002 S8 pinch my hips and give me terrible sciatica on a long drive. I have the option to swap out my seats for the standard seats, or the comfort seats from a late A8L (at a price), which I believe are a lot more luxurious. I really like the look of the comfort seats.
I have sat in neither, and the A8L is very rare here in the UK.
Can you let me know your opinions.
Before you ask, I will be keeping the old seats to swap back in at time of sale.
Cheers

They don't look as sporty, they don't hold you in as well going around a tight turn....but that's about it. They are super nice.

...something didn't feel right. It wasn't a good fit. I used to make frequent 6 hour long drives with my car with comfort seats without any back problems.
