Default How do I get wires past the firewall? and other questions

I have been on a kick to get my car back up to it's given glory.

rear brakes- done
front CV axles- done (long story)
fuel filter- done
oil cooler- done (darn pipe)
plugs- done
thermostat- done
Air filter- done
Trans fluid change- adding fluid tonight

Glad I have a spare junker to drive all this time it has been on jack stands. I am in total withdrawal. The pain of not driving my A8 is hard to deal with.

Now I am looking to finish the upgrades that I never finished up. (wires from heated washer fluid and wires for heated wipers)

Question #1 I am finishing the wiring to my heated wiper-blades. I need to fish wires into the car and I do not know where to do this.

Question #2 Is there a open fuse placement that has power when the car turns on?

Question #3 Any suggestions on placement of the large toggle for the blades? I am using the blank out switch to the left of the steering wheel for the heated washer fluid. (the wires are still under the hood because of question #1) The blank switch spot to the left of the passenger heated seat is used for the garage door opener mod. I am out of blank spots.....

Any help would be great, thank you!
