How do you change the front rotors on a facelift 01?

Should just fall off at that point. Make sure BF hammer is plastic-deadblow if you want to use the rotor again. Hit rotor on the outer edge- it gets rusted to the hub.

make sure the caliper guidepins are free and move easily and if new rotors are going on clean them well with brake cleaner.

For future reference the Auto Zone rotors for the front are wrong. For anyone that tries. That's why I am looking for after market ones now.

See rockauto.com. Also, there are a couple of places linked to this site that I've used that provide free shipping, even for rotors. That's helpful. I've never had a Zimmerman that I couldn't get below .002" runout at the edge. Many were less than .001". Mostly Mercedes and Volvo, though. Out of the four above, I would get the cheapest available, delivered.
