Default How do you get the coolant stains off your car!

So my coolant expansion tank leaked, replaced it but now I have coolant stains all over the inside of the engine compartment like this:

I tried wiping it up with water, but it won't clean up.....anybody have any suggestions?

If I recall I used a strong Windex type cleaner and elbow grease.

Default Simple Green and a Power Wash

Paul:

Just replaced mine last weekend and simple green at the hand bay car wash did the trick.

Default Most dealers use Simple Green

It won't harm the paint finish, rubber or plastic.

Just mix washing detergent with water in a cup. Then rub the stain with it from any cloth.
Just removed some weeks old coolant (ethyelene glycol) by this procedure
