How does someone justify a 30k dollar car loan for a car that is 4-5 yrs old?

Def a warranty if you're not a DIY guy. If DIY...you've got yourself a bargain! It blows my mind
how the prices have come down! You get soooooo much car for a new Camry money!

Full coverage (relatively speaking) warranties, term of 48 months with unlimited mileage, are around $2500-$2900 depending on options like labor rate desired and deductible amount, if any. But that covers a LOT more than just engine/trans.
But you can get powertrain only warranty for a lot less to just give you peace of mind and take away the worry of the "holy ****...how much???" kinds of repairs. About $1500 for something good.
Email me if interested. Also, verify the in-service date of the car and see if it's still covered...then you can buy it worry-free and decide what else to get for a warranty while you drive it.
