'84 4kq was winterbeater but puked a head gasket this winter so it's RIP and now FS. Instead, I just scored a set of 1 season Dunlop Wintersport M3's to be mounted on OE Avus' - summer wheels to remain *undisclosed* - for now - mwuwhahahahahahaha, pardon.

You'll hate me. I gots to get them on me doorstep before I'll gloat toooooo badly 8-)...

So far it has been extremely reliable (138K miles now). Keep up with the maintenance, and there is no reason not to use it as a daily driver.

I do. 40 miles of commute each day. Hey but I style in it! No contest there with the amount of looks I get from fellow dubbers / Audi and bimmers!

I work down in the 20s so parking is pretty cheap (comparatively) 16 miles roundtrip. On a sunny day riding solo (usually commute with the bride) I'll smoke the tires of the Miata. But 95% of the time, the A8 is my daily.

adds up to ~30/35k per year. But now that the weather is getting nice,the convertible ( '90 300SL 5-speed) gets it's legs stretched.
