Curious how the brake kit worked out for you. I read your "install" page, but there's no mention as to how they perform.
I'm considering doing the same. Why didn't you go all the way around?
I'm thinking they'll install fine in my Borbet 18" too. Our wheels look very similar.

Well, I still have it for now and I'm not going to lose my butt on it, I may keep it. I still love Audis. I'm also concerned that a new body style from Audi would knock another ten grand of its value. I don't buy cars to make money but I like to remain reasonable when thinking about value.

I know they will fit fine on your wheels. We checked a bunch of wheels, yours have more room than the stock 17" and the brakes fit under the stock 17" wheels no problem.
A rear kit isn't made yet. Being worked on but not in any great hurry because the A8 isn't a big seller and the engineering task on this car in the rear is considerable.
The brakes are very good and you can't make heat fade them unless you drive at extraordinary levels. I don't think cold stopping is quite as good as the stock set up because the master cylinder volume is not big enough in my opinion. A new master for the A8 would make this kit great. Right now it is very good with no problems but they would respond even better with a larger diameter master cylinder. They also squeak like mad when they are brand new but that goes away in about 1000 miles. They still sing a very little when you are on the highway and things are ice cold and then you hit an off ramp, it goes away after a second when things warm up. It's really not a factor.

Just under $6000. I dropped it off three months ago before business took a dive. I love it but the timing was bad.
