how rare is a 2003 avus silver s8 with burgandy interior

Don't know about that combo, but only 300 2003 S8's were imported to the US...100 in each of 3 colors, so only 100 silver ones...extremely rare in any color combo.

I would love to find out how many S8's in total were imported into Australia, as well as how many per year and per colour - the numbers would be pretty... um... 'exclusive' I think 
A8's themselves would barely number in the hundreds!

Email or call Audi Customer Care and they can get you the numbers your looking for. That's how I found out the numbers for 2001 US S8. Ask for how many total produced/imported to your country for a specific year, and how many in your color combo.
The numbers will most likely amaze you! Post what you find out.

Below is from a previous post on production numbers I was a part of on June 02, 2013. The numbers were gotten from MidWestAvant, NOLOAesste and myself.
Looks like after some digging on this tread, there seems to be some pretty solid numbers for D2 S8 in the USA.
2001 - 418
2002 - 482
2003 - 300
That's a total of 1200 D2 S8 in the USA and figure 10% of those cars are no longer running because they were not maintained or driven in to the ground. So optimistically there are 1080 somewhere in the USA.
Next time you see a D2 S8 give them a wave. Who knows how long it will be until you seen another one : )

There were three options for 2003:
Avus Silver/Burgundy
Ming Blue Pearl/Platinum
Black/Caramel
Also, the Alcantara package wasn't available in 2003.
