Bringing up timing is about the only tweak to the ECU.
Can't really throw more fuel w/o a new FPR and hi-impedance injectors...so how's he going to get the rest of the hp ?
Timing yields about 14-18hp b4 deto, this is with 93+ .

In that case, talk to VAST performance. They raised the output of an S8 engine to 420chp.
You may not be able to reach the same number, but you'll probably be close (and they should be able to do it for less than $3200 :P )

It wouldn't be ANYWHERE near that expensive. When VAST installed an S8 engine +
6-speed in an A6 4.2, the total came out to less than $10,000. And that included custom tuning to raise the output to 420chp, as well as an EFK, custom catback, etc. For the tuning by itself, I would assume that they'd charge less than $1000.
