I am losing around .5 of a liter per month.
My pick in this order is
1. oil cooler T seal
2. temp sender-although no visible sign
3. small leak in radiator or hose system
4. remote chance of head gasket
will post result and repair

I had the whole oil/coolant pipe thingy fixed (the one that we apparently all get at some point) back in April '05, and it was fine for a while. A few months later (December), it was giving me the low coolant warning around corners, so I topped it off with distilled water- and all was good for a few more months. It did it again this spring (topped off with distilled water again) and now it did it again this morning.
