Default I am always amazed at how spoiled we are with quattro.

Had to laugh at my self when I got the car high centered today(briefly) when I drove through snow that was bumber high. was momentarily pissed that I got stuck. Sat there for a second laughed to myself backed up a bit put it back in drive and plowed ahead with a bit more momentum and got through. Always amazed at what this car can do.

Default Perhaps I am best qualified to add insult to skiracer's injury...

Alas, I could only imagine how well my Quattro is handling, up on the rack getting its new coilovers and brakes installed, as I powerslide through the mountains around Boulder today in the Little Red Car with the Turbocharged Engine That Damn Well Can. Top down, t-shirt and shorts blowing in the 75 degree breeze -- what was it?! Damn! I forgot to get a job!

There are penalties to the artist's life, it is true. Today I can't remember them. But honestly, between the intake howl and the exhaust roar, it's hard to think. I'll meditate on this tonight and get back to you guys!

Default Careful .. if the snow pack is tough enough to high-center you, it can also scrape off your exhaust

.. break off brackets, etc. Sure, I would have done the same, but I have also broken off exhaust brackets (not on the Audi)

Default Reading comprehension is your friend!!

He said he was **high-centered** on a berm. This means a hard ice/snow ridge, like a snow plow creates at the foot of your driveway.

I in no way implied that normal snow on the ground, just laying there could or would take off your exhaust system.
