If you figure $800 for timing belt due in less than a year or 10K miles on the white car, when it's not due for a long time on Len's car, price difference is even smaller.
I like Len's car because mine is the same color, and everyone knows Andorra Red is the fastest and most reliable color.![Smile](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)

The miles are not that high. What would you rather do? For 19g, you can buy a brand new mid line Toyota or Ford and know that you will make that trip everyday, or, buy this "wonderful color" S8 and enjoy taking the very small risk of getting stuck on the road. I would rather push that Audi then drive a new bread and butter everyday car. As for the paint issue. That color mismatch could have been from new. Why? I have the same thing where both my rear doors look just a shade different than the rest of the car. If you guys look at all the silver and pearl white A8s, you will find that many have the same door mismatch. Who knows why. I did not notice this until a few weeks after I bought my Audi and my car was brand new. Some of you may remember how I fought with the dealer and Audi about my paint. After they sent a rep out to look at my paint, he said, your right and you are not the first one to complain about this issue. Audi took 6 month worth of payments off for me, so I left it alone. I only really notice it at night under a bright light. Anyway, go take the day or two to see the car. Only you really know if it feels right inside. P.S. If you find out it does have some repair work, if it was done right, so what? What do you guys want for that price? I think many of you guys here bought your A8s used and just overlook how much these cars cost. One of the finest cars in the world when new and now at these low prices, a used A8 can be the best value on the market.
