I AM SWIMMING IN OIL (SYNTHETIC) Mistery warranty saves my butt.
Well I told you about my mini leak of the A8 coming form the cooler area. I have been living with. Well, yesterday my Passat at 42K started smoking big time. Massive oil leak. I bring it to my ind. guy. Tensioner gasket camshaft seal all are leaking big time. The guy was surprised that the car did not catch on fire by the time I drove it to him. I must have oil poisoning in my bloodstream. Smoke was coming thru the vents. $950 to fix and the guy was going to include TB replacement and Water pump. I call the dealer out of curiosity. It turns that I am covered for 10 years 100K on all powertrane problems. Yes !!!!! I was one of the last people that got the 2 years 24 months bumper to bumper and 10 years 100,000 on powertrane. I am so glad.
WHAT IS THE DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY I WAS TOLD ALL A4, A6, PASSATS AND JETTAS HAVE MAJOR LEAKING PROBLEMS.

Do they all have a vacuum booster / "suck pump" like the 2.8 A6?

Here you go.
There's also a check valve that we're now hearing, should be replaced. I need to get the check valve for the A6.<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/a6/msgs/473820.phtml">You'll need all the associated clamps, and a crimp tool, as well. Or just get U.S. style worm gear clamps.</a></li></ul>
