I've pretty much learned to live with it, but it's still irritating to me... I searched the archives, but didn't seem to come up with "the" answer.

Can you explain what a "7 minute dash click" is?

Default It's a HVAC motor

You can either re adapt them or just look at the measuring blocks at the 7 minute intervals and see which one it is. Then replace it.

Default Thanks, Paul, I'll try the vag-com. Every 7 minutes, there's a loudish click, click, click

from the dashboard. Sounds like an A/C flap motor (apparently which it is) hitting it's stop repeatedly. Goes on for about 20 seconds. Harmless but quite annoying.
