Agree that brake fluid is probably your weakest link ... today.
On a clean dry road, I doubt that you'd even be able to generate enough braking forces at activate the ABS. Try your aluminum fail cone test again after the brake fluid flush, checking M/C movement both during normal driving and after making a max effort panic stop.
