I guess my TB job will have to wait until my 90k service.

I would change it before the next winter for sure. 6 years or 90K.
I had the belt jumped on my wagon. I had to replace a couple of valves and intake gasket, head bolts, new coolant, new oil. Wasn't fun

I bought my car 99 A8 with 88K. Straight to my tech it went for TB
and tranny service. I examined the TB and upon twisting it showed some small cracks. Do it as soon as you can, my 2cts.
