Default I guess it is time to change the brake fluid!

The brakes have been a little mushy on the newly acquired A8, so I figured, let's bleed the brake and see if it helps. It helped, the brakes are much better now, but Man I tell you, the fluid that came out was pretty cloudy to say the least. Time to change the brake fluid.

I already bought the Motive Pressure Brake Bleeder, it should get here early next week.

I think I will use ATE Gold Typ 200, or does anyone have a better suggestion?
Where is a good place to buy this fluid? Thank you

Default Since your fluid is already "gold" colored, perhaps the Blue would be better since you can see ...

when you've purged the old fluid by the distinct color shift.

All done, I ended up doing both of them, that bleeder worked like a charm.

Default The power bleeder is the way to go..

the thing I figured out is that the fluid comes out pretty slowly. I was expecting it to come gushing out but that's not the case. Need to allow maybe a couple of minutes flush time per wheel. It doesn't develop the pressure that someone pumping the brake does so the first time I thought I was doing it wrong.
