I have a symphony II with 6 cd changer in dash. Anyone wanna swap for a symphony I?

I don't need the cd changer in dash, and I miss the ability to randomly play songs from phatbox playlists.

Anyone know of a reason not to make that swap? Or better yet, how to make the symphony II randomly play songs in a playlist?

You can do it with the Symph 1 via preset # 6 - select option 8 or 9 I believe.

Unless Symph 2 does not provide for this?

My ol' A8 had symphony I with a random button in lower right. Symphony II has no such

button. I'll try the option 8 or 9 thingy, and see what happens. Thanks.

Don't know if it's a plug and play swap out

I think the Symphony I has more wires going to it versus teh Symphony II which used the CAN bus for a bunch of things.

I will look at it when I do my Nav Plus chane out.....

I am trying to figure out if I want to keep my radio or sell it after I put in my Nav Plus which will be in about 4 weeks.

I still have to reload my bently on my new laptop.
