I just did the low side recharge on a facelift car. It was on the very low end of "full"
but it made a huge difference when I topped it off. I went fron basically no A/C to pretty cold just at idle.
It's not as cold on the drivers side but I hear a clicking so it's probably one of the flap motors. I'll deal with that once it cools off a bit.
The low port is under the black plastic cover near the driver side strut mounting area. This car had some A/C work done before and I noticed that the plastic cap was missing (I assume there's one, I'll check my wife's car).
I bought an "Interdynamics" can with a gauge that I already owned. You do need the adapter in order to attach the can as Paul mentions in his notes.
I wore a full face mask and gloves which I would strongly recommend. It's only been 10 mins, let's see how long it lasts.
