I'm off to the cleaners to get my robe and pick up some new bunny slippers. This is all courtesy of Jim - 03S8 and his adventurous spirit and a little encouragement from me.

Yes, both were removed. Unless you have another S8 nearby to compare with, it looks like they were never there.

Default Yes as Olu said. We used Mark'sA8L procedure and then went one step further...

Mark takes it to the point of being able to do whatever you want with the main projector, but Jim had to get to the corner which required taking the lens and separating the clear plastic lens from the frame. The amber reflector is epoxied in so you have to pop it off. Jim pried gently at the lower point of the crescent and it popped off. A little bit of residual adhesive remained but unless you are 6 inches away you will never see it. I took some snaps along the way and promise to do a better writeup before the memory fades. I was not sure I was going to do it but Jim's freshly detailed //S8 with clear corners is beeeyouteeefull.

Mark

P.S. We were able to get Jim's headlights out without pulling the bumper forward FWIW.

Default Patience little grasshopper :-)...

Actually it was patience Ola. Slow, steady pressure and the sticky stuff eventually yielded. We did warm it up a tad with a hair dryer upon reassembly. Give me/Jim some time and we will post pics and all rather than piece mealing it if ya don't mind.
